Recap: Dave Bolland Golf Classic

Angus Glen Golf Club played host to the 2nd Annual Dave Bolland Golf Classic this year, welcoming 150 guests from sport and business to a gorgeous round of 18 at one of Canada's premier golf destinations. The event raised $50,000 for The Remix Project, a Toronto based organization, providing at-risk and marginalized youth mentorship programs across various creative sectors.

The Dave Bolland Foundation kicks off at The Wit

The Wit Hotel played host to the launch of the Dave Bolland Foundation. Dave and fiancee Julia were joined by old and new friends in SCREEN, for a short program introducing the good work of the three chosen beneficiaries of the organization. Presentations from Beyond The Ball, The Remix Project and Easter Seals educated the crowd on how the Foundation will benefit at risk and marginalized young people around Chicagoland and the Greater Toronto Area. Over $150,000 was donated to get the Foundation started and special thanks go to three of our founding partners, The Sultan and Sakeban Issa Family Foundation, The CME Group and Hitachi Consulting. Nike: World Juniors

On December 29th Dave Bolland and Nike Training held an online conversation about the World Juniors Tournament - Nike Pressure Pit. This was the first of many appearances from Dave on behalf of Nike. Team Canada won 10-2 over Denmark. Good Luck to Team Canada, let’s go for Gold!

Issa Family Foundation

On December 20th 2011, Dave Bolland and teammates Brent Seabrook and Marian Hossa attended a food drive organized by the Issa Family Foundation. The event raised roughly $20,000 for the Chicago Food Depository and 8,143 pounds of food that will provide more than 6,263 quality meals for the hunger in our Chicago community. Hat's off to the Issa Family Foundation for being leaders in our community.
